We build small, focused iPhone apps that do exactly what they say and nothing more. No accounts. No ads. No data leaving your phone.
We don't use analytics, crash reporters, or any telemetry. We have zero visibility into how you use our apps.
You never create a login. There's no user database because there's nothing to store on our end.
Everything lives on your device. We can't see it, sell it, or share it — because it never reaches us.
Log readings, track trends, and share with your doctor — all on-device.
Hit your daily hydration goal with a simple, no-fuss tracker.
Track your fasting windows, stay on schedule, and log your progress — no accounts, no cloud.
BustedToenail is a two-person shop. No VC money, no growth targets, no pressure to monetize your behavior.
We build apps we'd actually want to use ourselves — tools that are fast, focused, and honest. We charge a small fee, and that's the whole business model. No ads, no data harvesting, no selling your behavior to third parties. You pay us directly, and that's how the lights stay on.
When this started, one of the founders was deep into distance running. Both big toenails were black and completely busted up from all the miles. For some reason, in that state, "BustedToenail" seemed like a great company name. It stuck.
We'd love to say there's some clever metaphor here — that the toenail represents the apps that collect and sell your data, and we're here to "bust them up." But honestly, it's not that deep. It's just a weird name from a long run.
If there's a simple, useful app you'd like to see built — something that respects your privacy and just does the thing — send it over. We can't promise anything, but we read every suggestion.
